Delete Your Account
You can request deletion of your GLQ account and associated data at any time, whether or not you have the app installed.
What deletion does
Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your demographic information, your avatar, your badges and progress, and the demographic snapshot attached to each answer you gave, per our Privacy Policy (Sections 5–7).
Your answers themselves are kept, but anonymized: the link to your account is severed and the demographics are erased, leaving an answer that cannot be traced back to you or to any individual. We keep them because the results other users see are computed from all answers together, and removing yours would change what everyone else has already been shown. Aggregated results are likewise not retroactively recalculated, since they never identified you individually. Some records may be retained briefly where required for legal, security, or billing purposes before final deletion.
Option 1: Delete in the app
Open GLQ → Settings → Delete Account → confirm. This is the fastest option and takes effect immediately.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email us from the address associated with your account and we'll process the deletion manually.
